As of 7:30 AM today, the dollar to naira black market (parallel market) rate in Lagos stands at ₦1,735 selling and ₦1,725 buying. Bureau De Change operators in Lagos and Abuja confirmed the rate dropped slightly by ₦10 from yesterday’s ₦1,745 high. Reasons for the drop:

• CBN injected fresh dollars into the market yesterday
• Festive season demand slightly reduced after the Sallah rush
• Speculators are taking profit. Top locations today:
• Lagos Island: ₦1,730 – ₦1,735
• Allen Avenue: ₦1,728 – ₦1,732
